Hi folks- I'm running a little contest over on our forums. Venture Arctic is getting closer to completion, and we've announced all but 3 of the animals that will be in the game. If you are the first to guess the final three animals, I'll send you a free copy of Venture Arctic when it's done.

It's awesome to see just normal people play an independant game like that, it just makes me think that one day I could sit down and watch peoples reaction to my own game there. Congratulations ;).

Hey Andy, I saw Venture Africa at the ACMI Games Lab Best of IGF 2005/6.It's awesome to see just normal people play an independant game like that, it just makes me think that one day I could sit down and watch peoples reaction to my own game there. Congratulations ;).

Lots of good guesses over on the forums... no one's got it yet though. At least one of the correct ones has been guessed but not all three at once!

@Florian: the game is guessing animals that _aren't_ on the list at the top. All the ones on the list are already in.
If I can change my vote, I gotta say:
bald eagle
reindeer (unless that's the same as caribou)
and some kind of salmon

Ack, for some reason I was thinking we were talking about Antarctica. I guess you would have called the game "Venture Antarctic" if that were the case, wouldn't you?@Florian: the game is guessing animals that _aren't_ on the list at the top. All the ones on the list are already in.
