Worship me little penguins, for soon I shall become a God! [insert appropriet sounding hysterical evil madman laughter here]
I've never finished a single project, and am very easily distracted by other things. I'm a 31 year old virgin with no social life. You may think that makes me a pathetic loser, and well, you may be right. We all have great dreams and ambitions after all. And the overwhelming majority of us will, alas, never reach them.
But if I fail, it certainly won't be for lack of trying! I assure you, I am quite determined these days, and have learned much in my many years of struggle. I have worked with Professor Mark Overmars Game Maker, DarkBASIC Pro, and was a master of FORTRAN and Turbo Pascal back in community college long ago. Yeah, last those two languages aren't used anymore, but its all they taught, and they didn't tell me how useless they were until after I had finished them. I have enough C++ knowledge to get by on, and a very logical mind, easily able to figure things out. A master of algorithms, who will use the scripting language of the Torque engine to finally achieve in his goals.
The only reason I never finished anything, was because whenever I made any real progress, I realized how slow things were, and thus had to give up and start something knew. Plus I had a lot of spiders chewing on my brain all the time, but its ok, because I now have enough penguins in there to chase them out flinging Molotov cocktails all the way.
P.S. If you are an attractive single female with really, really, REALLY low standards, and have never been arrested for stalking or anything scary, let me know. I'm not much to look at, and I don't shower very often, but as long as you are a nice person, and don't expect anything other than absolutely loyalty and plenty of attention with unlimited snuggling rights, I would love to meet you. Not in person, of course, since I'd have to shoot you for tresspassing if you ever come near me, but after a significant time period chatting online, maybe something will happen.
Also if you are a talented artist willing to work cheap, contact me.

Hey man I can't make any promises but this may be able to help you take steps towards losing your virginity. LOL... oh man, I was dying laughing reading your plan. LOL. There are no women in this community. ROFL. Oh, man, I can't breathe! LOL. If you want a girl, you are going to have to do what every other guy who is a 30+ year old virgin... make lots of money. I would try the accounting or bank programming communities if I were you though. You won't make any money here. LOL.

I bought the Torque Game Engine as well as the RTS Starter Kit, after chatting with one of the Garage Game developers over at my forum.
I'm not going to reveal what my game is about just yet, but it'd help me a lot if everyone could just feel out these three surveys over at my forum. There are a few others around that might be amusing and/or relevant, but these three are important to the development of my game.
Whats the coolest way to destroy the world?
If you were a cockroach, what type would you be?
If aliens invaded, what would you do

Actually I've seen one or two women on here, but I won't name names. Of course they're probably married, or getting spammed by geeks like us. Female game programmers must party like rock stars lol. They must never be lonely. I mean come on... they're into games, and programming! This place must be like eharmony for them lol.

No one reads blogs anyway, unless you want to get to know the person and learn from their vast array of wisdom perhaps. Yep. I'd be good at that, bringing enlightment to all the insignificant little people after I sucessfully create the best selling game the world has ever seen, and all just have to stare, gasping in awe at my magneficient accomplishment. I'm joking, in case you can't tell. I'm hoping I'll just sell a few hundred or a few thousand copies of my first few games, but who knows? Maybe I'll make something truely wonderous for the world to behold. We all dream big. And I really hope one day I make. And if not, at least I'll have finished a game which I enjoy playing.
