Determinance blog live

by Ian Omroth Hardingham · 04/25/2006 (5:40 am) · 17 comments

Determinance work has finally become a boulder crashing down a hill, inevitably aiming for a summer release. Unfortunately, like a boulder crashing down a hill, my attention is not easily focussed on making new screenshots, so don't look at the screenshots on our site because they are old.

However, someone has very rudely released an underground video taken at a recent Determinance lan party on the new Determinance Blog. If you want to know what it's like finishing off a flying, freeform swordfighting game you won't find a better RSS feed to subscribe to. The blog is being designed by someone at the moment, but the content is there.

Mode 7 now has a full time marketing manager in Paul Taylor, which brings us up to two full time employees. Paul seems more interested in talking about animals than Determinance, as usual, but he's cheap so it's fine.

Ian

Very Exciting Ian, I wish I had more time so I could keep up on the beta tests

If you are unhappy that this person created this video...why are you linking your blog to it?

It's a covert attempt to find the maker and bring him to justice?

Ian didn't post this plan - the guy who made the video hacked his account and wrote it to give himself publicity. We're looking into the matter right now - I'll keep everyone posted.

It's clearly British humour. Clearly. See I know how to spell humour.

Oh btw, thanks Anthony, be great to see you in the chat room any time.

See, you can tell it's not Ian.

I have some suspicions on this one. If you view the source code of mode7games.com and scroll down it says, "OMG pwned by Matthew 'King Tut' Langley". I'm not sure what I make of this, but it leads me to think that the culprit is Anthony Fullmer, which is why he's here on this thread feigning incredulity.

Anthony is sitting here at the GG offices behind me, he's been working on docs and forum posts all day... Anthony is interning at GG.

Uh, I think you give me too much credit to think I am capable of any such 'hackeryness'.

If my shoes are tied going out the door in the morning, that's a good day for me.

I accidentally rated this resource as "useful" - I'd like to apologise for that gross misrepresentation.

I was pretty confused by the ratings system too, but I think I found the perfect one. It's called "Not useful".
