Hey Guys..
Your avid reporter wanted to be the first to snap up this opportunity.
Check out www.kotaku.com/ and scroll down to the bit about GDC "Hands on with GarageGames" :)
So THAT is the news huh? :)
Ok, didnt want to pre-empt GG's own press.. feel free to delete if you like.
Move on, nothing to see here.
Phil.

Darren: that game is Legion, if you read the article it tells you, basically its a tribes-ish style game. The actual image looks like it has one of the tribes guns (or a form of) on there.

So I guess the plan is to make a Tribesish demo to show off TSE, since really the old Realm Wars setup is much more a core for a game than anything you can actually play. And given out to the community I'm sure it will probably see more work put into it than Realm Wars ever did as a community project, with the popularity of the basis. Seems a little silly marketing the engine used to make Tribes with a Tribes demo, but it would logically show off the features well.

Not "tribeish".. but just something fresh. Bah they should make a game where you shoot a giant dead horse over and over... sigh.
