Basic Bob is done. and its out...

You can download the demo here. It's 15.1 MB.

And ...

I experienced the greatest high of my life today!

I made my first sale

Not to a friend or family member. Just some random person who found the site, tried it, liked it, and bought it.

This is the best feeling in the world.

You guys have no idea (well, some of you do I'm sure) how amazing this feels. All this hard work as definately worth it.

I suppose I should link to the website :)

UPDATE: The installer is now an exe file, instead of msi. The download link has been updated.

Andy - :P You have no room to complain. Your game is going inside a box.

I'll add to the pile and say "Congrats" as well! I'll kill a cold one off in your honor.

Always nice to read something like this, makes me think there's hope for me as well.. lol! ;-p

It's a congrats sandwhich! Pile on!

These .plans seem to have been an effective way for you to get your message out to people. Did you use any other services for marketing?

Matt - Marketing hasnt even begun yet.

I am sending out a press release to almost 1000 sites, and submitting my game to 400+ shareware sites via shareware tracker.

Unfortunately, I cant send out hte press release until the Mac version is ready, and I have no one to port it for me.

Congratulations, Chris!

By the way, there's a small typo on the front page:
"more then happy" should be "more than happy"

Fantastic!

That first sale is a high that's just amazing. It's not the money - it's the validation that what you have done was of value to someone. It's a great feeling.

Congratulations, man! Keep up the great work!
