key binds
1 - m13
2 - mp5
3 - crossbow
4 - dynomite
U - chat
H - Health
M - join team dialog
X - drop weapon( buggy ) if you toss your weapon and throw a nade then it crashes..
rest is basic fps stuff.. Ie wasd movement..

I will add a more detailed list of resources soon..
Right now it works fine, but there are quite a few bugs that need to be fixed, I plan to spend the next few weeks getting them whittled down.. :)
there are three maps so far, I plan to add more soon..
New addons----
+added drowning :) no glug glug glug sound yet as I am trying to figure out how to stop it on exit water.
+added sound events to the flag grab/capture
+added dynomite :)
bugs----
* if you switch teams while holding the flag you lose it until you restart the map. its not being dropped on team switch.
* if you go in lava while holding the flag you lose it as it wont respawn on drop yet.
The dynomite is still under construction. I need to add animations and some fine tuning to it to look better, but it should work multiplayer now.. I hope.. :)
The female model cannot be used in any game as it is under liscense thru Cubix Studios .
All assets in this kit cannot be reused in any game for sale or reliscensed for money. But they can be given free of charge.

@Tom: Your doing a great job! We were messing around in the game the other day. Does this version have the scripts in it as well?

I didnt do it the first couple of times as there wasnt alot to add.. mainly stock code..
the engine has been changed tho so to use some of the things like turrets and aircontrol you will need my exec..

* no credits needed for me, but maybe some props to the GG community for which this project is for.. :) I did most of the scripting from various GG community submissions/resources and in forum posts.. :)

I can just fly, I tried to press F7, F8 and nothing happend.

to select character: press "m"... select team

the team select will pop up, and if you get stuck in obs.. just switch teams..

@Tom: I tried to join a server several times...it shuts down TGE and gives me an error. Have you seen this or is it because someone else has a different version?

I am fixing this in the next update as I will have the game search for only CTF StarterKit games.
best bet is to only join servers you know to be ctf servers.. :)

does it tryt o join stronghold? if so yes I saw that yesterday and it crashes me too.. may be version 1.2 1.3 or something.. as I am using 1.4I am fixing this in the next update as I will have the game search for only CTF StarterKit games.
best bet is to only join servers you know to be ctf servers.. :)

another question: I join the red team and goto the red flag... it says I captured it and have to run to the blue flag to get the capture points. Isn't this backwards? I should have to go to capture the blue flag if I am on the red team. Also when I come back to the red flag (I'm still on the red team) my turrent starts shooting at me. LOL

As for the game the fire rate of the TNT is way too fast, other then that
I like the game, nice addition to TGE :)

alot of these issues have been fixed as we speak.. :)
I am working on all the bugs right now so may be a few weeks before there is a new update.. :)
a sample of the new door stuff.. added a drop down phonebooth to add hiding spots.. :)
and let me know if you can guess the game I got the textures form.. :)

I will try to update these as soon as I can.. :)

3 - Several of the rocks or crate areas where you jump to the next one resulted in my character getting stuck in mid air just jumping in the same spot. This is very repeatable. The water world grates in the temple is where i first saw it. The Rocks were on the Lava world.
4 - In res 800x600 the bottom weapon selection is cut off.
Would be nice to have some bots to complete against.
Over all I did run through all the levels (by myself) Not sure if the levels are fun in against others, but it looked that way. I might have to dig up some friends or maybe when you get some of the features you want in you could have a "try it night" where we download the latest and join a server. From this thread there might be a dozen or so willing to give it a try.

- 1. This is a bug between TGE 1.4 and windows. I noticed it when I first downloaded the SDK. Happens with several different firewalls.

1 - guess its a bug :)
2 - I will look into that, may be the waterblock not reaching all the way down.. but then you should be dead when you get that far down.. :)
3 - if its the thing where you hit the edge of something then this is a bug I found that happens when I add the air control resource.. if I take that out it doesnt do it.. but then you lose air control.. :)
I may remove the air control, unless soemone knows a way to fix this..
4 - I will look into it, probably the gui needs to be set to relative so it remains set at different resolutions.. :)
