Well, this will be a short post, for once, heh.
Just letting people know I have started an official developer diary blog. It can be found here :

I tend to ramble on long windedly about game development and gaming in general. Fear not, this blog isn't supplanting my GG posts, in general I will post up torque related updates here on GG as well. But I decided to start it for a few reasons :
1) Get people used to going to the official SoW domain for updates, in preparation for the site going live (it hasn't yet). A central source of information and updates is crucial for PR and community building. ;)
2) Create a place for the non-technical to follow SoW dev progress. I tend to go in depth into code systems and suchlike here on GG, think it might swamp your average gamer in jargon.
3) Motivate myself to make more regular news updates.
4) A place to rant, occasionally.
Anyway, give it a look, you may find it amusing.

My second one was an Elf, named Galen. I was interested in the magic and fighting aspects of that class.
He died stupidly, like Gandalf. 8-P

In regards to the supernatural realms you discussed, I've always been a fan of that idea too. From a developer point of view I've always pictured this kind of slider in your view, and as you pan through the slider the world goes from the normal human reality we're all aware of, to nightmarish hells, angelic heavens, elemental planes, and so on. Basically taking the same game world you normally walk through, and realizing that if you had the power you'd realize you were coexisting in the same "space" as hundreds of other dimensions.

Thanks for the comments guys. :) Fear not, I am attempting to make all archetypes as interesting as possible. Rogues are definately another type that are underdeveloped in most RPGs (my second favorite type of char, I looooved the Thief series of games). As are diplomats.
