Blog post
I've had a pretty hectic ride for the last 4 months but my life seems to be calming down to a panic again.

So I've been away.

I'm back.

I'm sure there is much rejoicing... (or gnashing of teeth).

ISO Pack? - Full steam ahead, specifics in my next blog post to come soon as...

A certain well known and highly distributed book says that thou shalt not test thy God - but it never said anything about giving him a good ol' poke! With that said, is there any chance of finding out a likely release date for this bundle of goodness? Based on screenshots and videos from previous blogs it look almost complete .. is this the case, or am I just floating on my little cloud in la la land?? :)

Seriously though, Neo, if you had to place a % number on being complete what would that be? 80%, 90% .. 99% (oooo the dreamy state of bliss).

Now that I know this isn't a dead duck I guess I will just start creating my artwork in World Creator and Poser in preparation.

I will only know such things after I get back into the ISO code (and update it to 1.7, etc) so will let you know in my next plan what the expectations are etc. I can say however that I want to look at options that will get it out as soon as realistically possible, like releasing as EA or whatever else I come up with.

That's fair enough, thanks Neo - guess I will keep my eyes glued to your blog space.

Any iso-news?

Neo Binedell   (Jul 03, 2008 at 20:08 GMT)
Pheew... sorry to keep everyone hanging again, I basically just worked on too many projects for too long and finally burnt out... I've pretty much stopped doing any client dev for a while to recover and spend some time with my family, etc, so perhaps now I can get back to the iso pack eh... what's it been... 3 years? ;p

I will be back next week with an update... stay tuned...

Javier Canon   (Jul 09, 2008 at 23:59 GMT)
@Neo

Every time I think of Isometric games, I get blissful memories of Landstalker flooding back. Hope to see your work out ASAP.

Hope to see some more updates on this. It seems perfect for creating the Iso game I have been dreaming of. I know I would pay good money for a package that contains all of the features you have described.
