Here at GarageGames, we are always trying to improve the products and technology that we produce. We have our own ideas about which direction those improvements should take and which features we think should be next on the list to add in or receive some attention, but it's always nice to get feedback from those who are using the product on a daily basis.
To that end, we have devised a survey to give us feedback on Torque Game Builder and how it compares to some of the other tools out there people are using to make 2D games. It should only take a few minutes to complete and we would appreciate anybody and everybody taking the time to provide us with this valuable information.

Though in the end there was only 3 dedicated full time TGB team members at GG... out of over 30 combined employees and interns working on many different things... So I know it may look as though everything is about TGB, but thats only because TGB was just released and we're still doing post release and launch work, so typically it would get the most attention at present time, at least the most 'public' attention. I assure you, day in and out, the other engines and projects at GG are always being worked on and the people working on them are making amazing progress :)

Troughout my career I've been working alot with public relations, both in the "in-yer-face" kind of way and indirectly as back-end technical assistant for that "in-yer-face" salesdepartment.
My mantra has always been this;
"It is not what you say, it is how you say it"
cliche perhaps but true every single day in the life of salesmen, customer support agents, doctors etc. etc.
I believe this is the case of the recent TGB craze, it appears as it shadows every other product.
Everyone who frequents the forums know how much work is being put into TSE right now, how much love Constructor is getting and how much carrying the crew have been doing in the recent move to the new office but at times all this didn't really make it trough the surface.
Perhaps the GG marketing team could take some time to continue the comunity newsletter tradition to keep us fanboys (and girls) updated on the other products aswell ?
I for one really enjoyed reading them while they where active :)
Hope I doesn't come across as a critic, I love the operation and checks in on a daily basis due to the dynamic enviroment here.

So I get "my ideas" looking at the frequency and size of upgrades to TGE in the last two years. Sadly, TGE looks less and less like a "serious" engine to me. I still love it, it still have its (numerous) qualities, but my perception is that TGE's features havent increased at the same rate as my expectations. Of course, this is put in sharp relief by the amazing results on TGB.

One thing that might be worth mentioning...I think it was question #2 and one of the choices was "First Person Shooter" You meant "Shooter" Right?

But two things need to be said about TGE.
Documentation that is kep upto date with the current version, and im talking about more than the "programers" supper-hotlink-of-frustration-and-lack-of-real-infromation-unless-your-a-paper-having-programer in-C++-web-based-clicking-game.
And please...fix transparencys in TGE.
The engine is great, but thies two areas need work.
