Wow!! Awesome!!
Congrats mate!
Congratulations, man! Did you ever work with Gary Dahl? He also use to work for Canopy games and taught some courses I attended a few years back at college.

Congrats Josh! People like you and Lara will do great good to GG, and ultimately to us ("us" like in "ME") :D
Welcome - I'm sure the denizens of the other side of the building will find a bunch 'o work to keep you two busy enough!
Very, very sweet! Congratulations to you both!
Booyah! I think GG just leveled up too. Josh, for those new to the GGsphere, is an absolute machine. For a very tiny peek into what he's contributed to GG over the years, check out the Prairie Games profile and his past .plans / resource submissions / forum threads here: http://www.garagegames.com/my/home/view.profile.php?qid=4280
Awesome stuff. I feel really lucky to have Josh and Lara on board. Keep any eye out for some Josh-and-Lara-powered Torque magic in the future.
Congrats - I'd wondered when they'd finally snap you up :P
That's awesome news Josh!! Congratulations!!
Big congratulations to you and Lara, Josh!

Now you gotta move out of xxxxx Dakota?
Rock on Josh!
Ahh Juggernaut, the lousiest expansion pack for any game every ;p That game was rushed more than anything I've ever seen. The levels weren't even lighted properly, just the fast lighting was processed on them(whis is used for testing). No big deal really, I think everyone has been on a rushed project before, but there's more...
Weren't you guys the ones who found a loophole in the Quake 2 license that allowed you to release without paying for the license? I didn't read any follow-up to the story, but I seem to remember it ending with id stating "yeah, we got fucked, nothing we can do about it. The license has been updated..."
Does this mean if I find a loophole in my GG licenses, I can assume it's ok to take complete advantage of them instead of honoring the logical agreement?
Hopefully you've done more reputable projects since then. Or perhaps id won the political fight over that and you guys were completely ethical. If so, do tell!
Sorry for the agression, I just don't like seedy people...

Sweet! Congrats Josh and Lara. You guys rock :) Looking forward to seeing what new projects are down der pipeline. Cheers
Congrats Josh ! Moving from the Prarie to the Garage, thats moving up in the world!
Seedy people eh? Sorry for the aggression, but Josh has done more under Open Licensing than anyone else I can think of here. The Torque MMOKIT is *free*. He put countless hours into making it available for folks and has tantalized and inspired a whole cottage industry. He's also one of the guys that has made our new TGEA possible and released several outstanding resources into our midst. So please "read the followup story" before you try bashing a public hero on his own announcement blog. Tasteless.
Oh eh.. congratulations Josh, there's bigtime cowbell going on now at GG!!!

Thanks guys! I'm really happy to be on board!!!
Ah, Juggernaut for Quake II ... the first retail title :) $10k budget from the publisher... completed in 9 sleepless weeks... some people liked it, some more people hated it. I believe the publisher and id Software agreed to some kind of royalty, but I have no idea... we were onto the next game and for some reason never saw any royalties. ;)

@Josh - Mucho congratulations! Your work in TGEA was inspirational, and I look forward to the future =)
Congrats indeed (to both of you!), beats doing another game ala MoM, with attached pains, for sure. =)
I'll hopefully see ya at IGC this year then.
@Dave: I've got a fever... and the only prescription is more GarageGames :)
@Magnus: Thanks again for all your incredibly hard work on MoM. It wouldn't have been possible without your awesome design, modeling, rigging, texturing, and animation skills :)
That's great, Josh. Good luck.
Welcome aboard Josh! Are you moving out to the Centre of the Universe, or joining the Remote Employee Corps: Awesome Division?
I look forward to Python becoming an official part of Torque! :P
- LightWave Dave
CONGRATS!!!!!
That is awesome....
does this mean that the whole mojo project of puttign the ogre3d rendering engine into torque has been dropped? I mean I don't think they are gonna let you work on that there I would imagine. I was looking forward to that.

Why are you wasting time posting a blog when you should be fixing TGEA bugs!!! Joking. :) NOW you're really a Garage Games employee.
Remote Employee Corps: Awesome Division Unite!
Congrats on the position move. I'm curious what happens to Prairie Games and MoM at this point?
