Summary:
Mark has been playing games since Pong first appeared in Pizza restaurants. He began early attempts at a game on old Atari and Adam computers using basic, back in the days when Spaghetti code ruled. After initial failure at a young age, he took a long hiatus from trying to make games. He has now come full circle from his first programming attempts. In 1995, he Got a CIS degree. He followed that up with his first real (professional) job, at which he still works. Over time Mark has progressed from writing Assembly code on a TPF mainframe system to writing PC based apps with MFC. In his progression, he has programmed in C, C++, VB, Win API, JavaScript, XML/XSL/DHTML , COM/ATL, Access basic. In his college days, he did some simple programming in Cobol and Smalltalk as well. In his spare time, he dabbles in all area's of DirectX programming. Besides working with the Torque game engine, he also works with the PowerRender engine.
