- After 27 years, I've learned relational database design (logical, physical, normalization, optimization), GUI Design, Software Distribution, and more skills than I can count along the way. I've administered Very Large computer systems (Solaris F15 clusters with thousands of users) all the way down to the Very Small (enterprise PDA syncronization systems) and pretty much everything in-between.
I graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Speech Communications. My second Language is American Sign Language, in which I still maintain interpreter-level fluency. I've lived for a semester in Kenya, and have conversational fluency in KiSwahili. At the age of 35, I'm more or less retired now -- but I still love programming, and still write code every day.
I'm in the process of learning all the little quirks of the TGE/TSE scripting language and trying to wrap my head around all the class members and methods.
