Summary:

I am a former U.S. Marine Corps officer (hold the rank of Major as an honorary retiree) and now employed full-time as an MS Access/SQL Server programmer and part-time self-employed contractor. Studied Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin in the late 1970\'s and have been working/playing with computers since. I derive most of my current income from my job and developing business applications for small-to-medium size businesses (although I have had some fairly large clients at times (AT&T, Andersen Consulting, Holiday Inn Worldwide, CNN) on-the-side. I am interested in developing professional games and am looking at the Torque engine as a low-investment (in terms of time and money) means of doing so.
