- I've been programming professionally for nearly ten years. I bought my first computer (a TI99/4A) with the goal of making games. I found out that corporate programming pays a lot better. Now I'm finally in a position to focus on games again.
In my day job, I'm using C#, and I have to say that I really like it. If it wasn't for the large dotnet runtime and DX9 downloads, I think it would be an extremely viable way to make games.
I recently purchased 3DS Max, and am teaching myself that.
