- Quote I live by: "Programs must be written for people to read, and only incidentally for machines to execute."
I love to design websites and games, I have designed many different types of games for other individuals, or my self just for fun over that last few years. The first website I ever designed and coded, without any tools, just Paint was back in August 2005, now I use tools such as Inkscape, Paint.NET and Notepad++. I often re-design my website to keep my mind sharp and ready for a job. When game ideas come to my head, I often write them down, and when I usually have enough ideas, I put a game plan together, sometimes I will even make the game out of the design, often I won't, and I will either use those ideas for contracting or just put them in my 'Game Design' Folder.
My skill in the 3D department is constantly growing. Back in Early 2007, I started by using a tool called AC3D, and created several different, multi-ten-thousand polygon models of machinery, characters and maps. Eventually, over a long time, I wanted to rig and animate my models, so I tried a number of tools, such as 3DS Max and Cinema4D, I became talented with those programs (within the trial period :) ) but the prices were too much. In early 2008 I found Houdini, I loved the UI, the speed, the ease, and the tools for creating models, animating, and creating full out movies with it. Just over this summer I bought the Apprentice HD version and I have been working on a very detailed Intro movie (only a couple minutes) for my under development sandbox FPS game called Proelium: Black Gold.
