The Online Documentation is the first place you should start your Torque 3D education. These official docs are updated constantly to include new content, revising old tutorials and provide free resources. An offline version of these docs, html format, are provided for you when you install the Torque 3D SDK. However, you should use the online versions as much as possible as they will always be the most up to date version. WRITTEN TUTORIALS:
- Creating Breakable Objects in 3DS Max
- - This guide serves as a primer for the basics of PhysX, when working in Max to create real-time destructible buildings for Torque.
- Simple TorqueScript Tutorials
- - These tutorials will provide you with sample code to read over. You will also get sample scripts at the end of each tutorial to test out.

- - These tutorials make full use of Torque 3D's editors, networking structure, input system, and TorqueScript. These examples will even get into game play mechanics.

The community of developers using Torque 3D is vibrant and active. Get involved in the community by joining the ongoing discussions in both the public and the private Torque 3D forums.
You can find more tutorials and add-on modules in the Resources section of the GarageGames site. You can simply browse through all of the Torque resources, or you can use the advanced search feature and query for specific Torque 3D terms.
Forum DiscussionsMost discussion of Torque 3D and related projects occurs in the forums. In the Public Forums you will find general discussion and a lot of great "Getting Started" threads. If you are having problems in your very first run of Torque 3D, this would be a good area to post your questions as a beginner.
The Private Forums are much more extensive in terms of topics, engine discussion, bug fixes, and general Torque 3D development. You must have a license to view and post in the Private area.
In the forums, can post your own questions, answer queries posted by other Torque 3D users, show off your work, or simply join in general discussion about the engine and its features.
Submitting Your Own ResourcesIf you are the generous type, and have something cool to share with the rest of the Torque 3D community, log in to the GarageGames site and navigate to the "Add a Resource..." page. This is also the page where you can post blogs about your Torque 3D projects and progress.
