Workspace Picture Thread

Greetings Community!
This thread is dedicated to posting pictures of your workspace. We had a similar thread going a few years back, but it died a horrible death (lack of posting). Now that we have a lot of our old website features back up and running, this is a good time to start a new one.

Rules!

1. You can only post one picture, from one angle. No panoramic shots or multiple postings from different angles.

2. No photo editing (GiMP or Photoshop), with the exception of scaling. We want the real thing.

3. Pictures are not limited to just your desk. You can take a single shot of your office, but it is recommended you include your desk area.

4. Keep it PG. Statistically, there is someone in the community that has an inappropriate (read: nude) picture in their area. If this is the case, you can bend rule #2 by blurring the image. If we see something offensive, we will delete the post and ask you to repost.

5. Remember, this thread is for *FUN*. Please do not derail the thread with overly detailed tech or Torque talk. Stating the size of your monitors is fine, but going into the full monitor history is boring =).

6. Do not flame or criticize anyone due to the contents of their image. No PC vs Mac vs Linux wars.

Without further ado...

As you can see, I'm a white board nut. I have 2 small ones hanging on walls, a slightly larger standing board, and a massive one that nearly takes up an entire wall!

Oh, yeah...I love Fallout =)

@Michael - Toys!? You can't call it a workspace if you have room on it for toys!

Having no whiteboards my life's thoughts and memories are recorded on yellow post-it notes.

@ Michael

Nice Mac :)

And what is that yellow orange thing? Looks kind of like a Nerf Gun.

@Shane - Thanks

That would be the Nerf Vulcan EBF-25. Fully automatic, battery operated, Nerf dart launcher capable of firing a barrage of projectiles from a 25 round chain.

I have a picture of me pelting my intern with this while he curled up in a fetal position =)

Awe, what the heck. It's not a large image, but it still looks ok.
I want to know how you two keep your desks so clean...

Most of my clutter is in front of my keyboard, which you can't see in the pic. There's not much there, though. I see you guys have a lot of paperwork hanging around. My wife makes sure that never happens, at work and at home =/

I'm big on having the full-office experience:

I moved the fortress in the last month, but it's pretty much still intact in all of its glory.

You can barely see my computer on this desk!

@Deborah: Did you happen to notice that a sea lion was scaling the walls of your fortress? He also seems disturbingly interested in your office's ceiling... ::shudder::

@Ted: That's Torque Seal Engine, or TSE for short (feel free to groan). He's been hanging out at GG for over a year now. He used to hang on top of the walls of our office (they don't quite go all the way to the ceiling), so yeah, he does have a ceiling fascination. : /

@Debs - that's a proper workspace, I see post-it notes!

@Deb: Workspace animals are a hazard. I just had to clean up a spilled glass of diet coke where the laptop in my picture was 30 minutes ago- luckily, the laptop was in another room providing my workout music when that happened (they're like my own little Murphy's Laws- with fangs). The ferrets are punished for making me reset the "Days since last Accident" sign back to zero... :(

Hrm, poker on TV I think, it usually gets left on whatever channel the wife was watching when she goes to bed so I end up with all kinds of strange things on in the background late at night. His and hers setup with a TV in the middle... the rest of the house is mostly uninhabited. :D
