Trouble with GUI

I'm having a problem with the GUI for the game I'm working on and cannot figure out what is causing it or how to resolve the problem.
The problem is in the GUI help dialog where the 0. About, 1. Credits, etc are listed they are appearing twice. I read chapter 10 carefully and discovered a noDuplicates attribute of the GuiTextListCtrl that is suppose to prevent this from happening. However, in the GUI Editor when I click on the GuiTextListCrtl that is used to display the help files, there is no "noDuplicates" attribute listed in the Control Inspector window and everything is expanded. I have tried manually editing the help.dlg.gui file but with no success.
Can anyone help with this?
I am using the fps folder from the book's Torque demo as my starting point.
Thanks for any input.
