Radeon 7500 display problems with Orbz

Hi there,
I have just installed a Hercules 128MB Radeon 7500 graphics card into the following system: AMD XP1800+, Matsonic MS8137C M/B, 768MB PC2100 RAM.Windows XP Pro
I have installed the very latest drivers from the ATI website (Catalyst 4.2)Everything seems installed fine.

When I play Orbz, after a minute or so the display becomes totally corrupt (lots of multicoloured pixels over the whole screen) I can see enough to get out of the game and restart the PC, but even when it restarts some icons on the desktop are still corrupt. Starting Orbz and then quitting before playing returns the desktop icons to normal.

The settings for the graphics card are set to their installed default, and I haven't tried adjusting them yet.

I have tried the previous graphics driver, Catalyst 4.10, but the same thing happened. Do I need to change the settings in Orbz itself? Or maybe go back to an earlier graphics driver? Anyone know one that does work?
I have to admit to being a bit of a novice when it comes to gaming and adjusting graphics settings and any help at all on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
Roger

I've had problems with my ATI 9500 failing on occasion. I have a 7500 on another machine. I'll install Orbz and see if I can offer any insight.
