Orbz master server - is it finished?

#1 We are still a ways off from figuring out the master server problem. We are understaffed and are currently slammed with engine releases. We are looking into options to offload the work, but if we can't then the server work will come after we launch our engines.

#3 You could say that. I personally do not know how it will be handled, but I was told that it is possible to restore it by a reliable source.

#6 We do not have any updates. We are currently heads down working on our engine releases right now. Since we are in crunch mode on our primary business, we have not had time to look at the master server code yet and see just how difficult it will be to support (especially since we do not have *ANY* control over the games using it any longer).

#7 Thanks for answer, David. It`d be great just to get to know if there still any chances to get the game back ever in the future, that`s why I`ve asked...

#8 Orbz master server was up for awhile. We could host our own servers and play. Now it`s down again. Whatta?!

#9 Yeah, garagegames' master server was brought back online last Monday, but it died again Saturday morning the best I can tell. As soon as I see any GG employees on IRC I'll let them know.

#10 The Master Server is back up. Just as a heads up, the server that the master server is running on isn't in a final state, so it may go down from time to time right now.

#11 So it's been 4 years since the last comment and me and others are wondering still. Will servers ever be back and if not how can I make a server that others not in my network can see. Also will orbz ever be updated to work on Lion or newer for the Mac?

#14 I can't speak for Justin, but I'm not surprised considering the age of the game and last known update.
